Condolences for the family of “Ruben Manlangit”

Condolence from Vickie Langwell on January 15th, 2015 4:41 pm

My thoughts and prayers are with everyone as you mourn the loss of your husband, father and grandfather. Dianne and I used to work together and she took me to her parents home a few times for lunch. Mr. Manlangit was a very kind person and a wonderful cook. Being a southern girl, I always had my cabbage “boiled” until I had the pleasure of eating stuffed cabbage prepared by him. I know you will all miss him. Keep the faith and cherish your many memories.

May your many fond memories of happier times enjoyed in past with Ruben sustain you and your family during this time of sadness and grief. We enjoyed his many entertaining stories about his far flung experiences spreading joy with his delicious recipes for family, friends, and professionally in service to our United State Coast Guard and even at the White House. He was a man who left a lasting legacy through his family, his works, and his evident love.
