Samantha “Sammy Jo” Labonne, age 30, of Camden, NC went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at her home.  Sammy Jo was born in Worcester, MA on June 18, 1990 to Karen Labonne and the late Michael Morin.  She relocated to North Carolina recently and was living with her stepfather, Robert Hocutt, Jr. and sister, Brianna Hocutt.  Sammy Jo loved her children and was a terrific Mom and sister.  She loved music and could be found singing a lot, especially while in the car. She also loved to cook.  She will be greatly missed.

In addition to her Mom, stepfather, and sister, Sammy Jo is survived by her sons, Landon Isgro and Elliot Isgro; a sister, Amanda St. George and her husband Ian St. George; her brothers, Mark Gray and his wife Heather, Michael Labonne, Christopher Morin, and Corydon Bathgate; her aunts, Amanda Gray, Jamie Gray and Joy Cencak; one niece; four nephews; and a host of friends.

A celebration of Sammy Jo’s life will be held at a later date. Twiford Funeral Home, 405 East Church Street, Elizabeth City, NC is assisting the Labonne family. Online memorial condolences may be sent to the family at www.TwifordFH.com.

I’m so sorry for this terrible loss, you were a bright light in everyone’s life. You went from a sweet little girl to a beautiful woman and you should be here but life is never fair and you learned that from an early age. But now your with your father and joel .
