I had the absolute pleasure of working with M.s Shirley at Belk for 16 years and I say from my heart I loved her dearly. She was one of the sweetest, kindess, fun loving Christian ladies that i have ever known. We kept in touch thru phone calls and cards and I will miss her sweet smile. She was a hard working and get things done person and willing to help anyone. When my Mom passed away in 1996, Mr. willie was the first one here with ham and rolls and a hug for our family. They were wonderful people and now they sing together again in Heaven, as is in GODS plan. My prayers go out to the family and friends and may GOD BLESS and keep you all in HIS arms at this time of sorrow….

I am so deeply sorry Ms. Shirley has passed. In looking at the pictures there is not doubt she lived a wonderful and happy life. She and my Mom worked at Belk’s together as well. My Daddy and she were Wilson cousins. I always enjoyed talking with her. She had a warm smile and great chuckle. Nancy, your Mom and Dad raised a great daughter and I am so glad we are friends. I know life will be hard for you now to adjust to life without her. She is always with you in your heart. Just know you took great care of her. She is with the love of her life in heaven now. Together again forever in eternity. My condolences to everyone. May God’s love, peace and comfort be with you now and in the days to come.
