Dare County, NC – On Thursday, September 10, 2015, Twiford Funeral Home partner David H. Twiford, Jr. presented Sheila Davies, Director of the Dare County Health Department, and Laura Willingham, Outer Banks Tennis Association (OBTA) President, with a donation check of one thousand dollars ($1,000.00). This generous, Silver Level donation will help support Dare Hospice in providing local individuals and families assistance and critical services.

The Outer Banks Charity Classic Tennis Tournament (OBCTT), a partnership between Dare Hospice and the Outer Banks Tennis Association, has raised more than $210,000 over the past 12 years. The success of this tournament has made it possible for Dare Hospice to provide holistic end-of-life care addressing the physical, emotional, relational and spiritual needs of patients and their families.
