William Charles Kochlin, 63, of Salvo, NC died Saturday, October 3, 2020.
Born in Long Island, NY on August 3, 1957, he was the son of the late Elizabeth Hedges Kochlin and Alfred Kochlin.
An avid outdoorsman, William loved fishing and being in nature. Having ridden his bicycle from New York to North Carolina, he also visited all the Outer Banks lighthouses by bike. William was an original member of the Green Grass Cloggers and enjoyed playing chess and woodworking.
He is survived by his wife, Connie McCollum Kochlin; daughter, Bobbie Jo Kochlin (Bryan Yoder); three sons, Kevin Crisp, David Crisp (Angela), and James Crisp (Destiny); three grandchildren, Dallas, Leighton, and Jace: sister, Elizabeth Nagorski (Charlie); niece, Elizabeth; and two nephews, Timmy and Charles.
The family will hold a private service to celebrate his life.
