William Winton Rivers, age 87, of Elizabeth City, NC died on Sunday, July 24, 2022 at his home. Born in Grand Cayman Island on October 29, 1934 to the late William and Hazel Rivers, he was the husband of Francine Iola Hydes Rivers. He served as a merchant marine until retirement.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Heather Parsons, and Shan Parchment; two sons, Orvan Rivers and Mike Rivers; an aunt, Ethel Rivers; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; six nieces; five nephews; and a host of other family and friends.
